About Jak127 Help Fund

Jak127 is a non-profit organisation founded in 2008 by Hennie van Vreden, a former police officer in the South African Police Service. Hennie’s experience included working as the Provincial Coordinator of Drugs and Occult-related crimes, as well as overseeing all youth programs and projects, and conducting hostage and suicide negotiations in the Northwest Province. While on a mission trip around the world in 2007, Hennie had a profound realisation that his purpose in life was to help those in need, especially women and children who were widowed or orphaned. He shared his vision with friends upon returning, and this marked the beginning of the Jak127 Help Fund. The name Jak127 originated from the Scripture in the Afrikaans Bible Jakobus 1 Vers 27 (James 1:27).

Jak127 Help Fund is dedicated to supporting individuals and communities in need by providing physical, emotional, and spiritual aid. The organisation’s outreach extends to victims of natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods. Additionally, Jak127 Help Fund aims to help people find their purpose and place in life.

As a non-profit organisation, Jak127 Help Fund relies on the support of donations and volunteers to continue their work. The organisation is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those in need and is always seeking ways to expand its reach and impact.
